AT026 Independent Insurance Adjusting as an Alternative Career with Jason Martinson
Over the last 17 years, Jason Martinson has worked as a dedicated Fire Investigator, firefighter, paramedic, and CrossFit business owner based in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2017, he decided to expand his career knowledge into becoming an independent insurance adjuster specializing in residential property damage claims.
Jason joins me today to share his insight as a new adjuster in the field. He shares the similarities between working as a career firefighter and an adjuster, explains the importance of building your network as you learn the industry, and the importance of managing your time effectively as you advance your career. He also shares his most memorable experience while working claims and the most important lessons he has learned throughout his new career journey.
“It’s all about finding those people who truly want to help you. That’s the key.” - Jason Martinson
